Sånga Fågelkrans Purse

Pattern for download

Price: 6,25 USD (Incl. Swedish VAT. Final VAT amount depends on the buyer's country.)

The stylized bird on the purse Sånga Fågelkrans is inspired by a stencil-made motif from the vaulted ceilings of Sånga church. Several birds are flying up there amongst saints, biblical scenes, stylized flowers and climbing vines. Some birds perch on top of a vine, like a flower on a stem. Sånga Fågelkrans means Bird Wreath from Sånga in swedish.

The purse Sånga Fågelkrans is available in one size, actual size depending on the yarn that is used. Measurements of purse: The lighter purse is approx 19,5 cm long and 16,5 cm wide, the darker purse is somewhat shorter. The strap is approx. 108 cm long. Both colourways uses Drops Baby Merino for contrasting colour. The lighter colourway uses SOL-4, a hand dyed 100% silk yarn from SOLsilke, for main colour, while darker colourway uses hand dyed Smootherino from Artist Palette Yarns.
